Trugreen Killed My Dog

Trugreen Killed My Dog

I used to be a fan of Trugreen, the company that kills your weeds and your grass, but not your animals. I had heard stories about dogs being killed by their treatment, but they are just one of many companies that offer pest control services so I assumed it was just a freak accident.

TruGreen is not safe for dogs. TruGreen uses toxic chemicals that are harmful to dogs and the environment, which can lead to serious health problems or death in some cases. Some of these dangerous chemical substances include glyphosate (the active ingredient in weed killer), 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (a herbicide), and Dicamba (weed control). If you have a dog on your lawn, it would be wise to find an alternative company before they come over again!

What is trugreen?

Trugreen is one of many big companies offering pest control services to kill the bugs in your yard. They offer organic, chemical-free pest control that will get rid of the bugs without leaving harmful chemicals on your yard that could harm you or your animals. Sure it sounds like a great idea until they start killing everything!

There are several companies out there, including trugreen that offer pest control services. I’m sure they all claim to be safe and non-harmful, but the chance is too great. Your dog or cat is a part of your family and if it gets poisoned, don’t you think it would be better to hire an organic lawn service?

Does TruGreen use toxic chemicals?

TruGreen claims to use “safe and effective” chemicals, but it’s hard to believe that when they kill everything in sight including your pets. If you search online there are several stories of dogs and cats dying because of trugreen treatment, so the proof might already be out there.

The real question is, are these companies using dangerous chemicals? I don’t know about trugreen, but when you search for “trugreen lawn care” there are several pages of results that claim their products are toxic. Treating your yard to kill bugs will leave harmful chemicals in the grass or on the trees, which could cause serious health problems. You cannot always see the chemicals, they are odorless which is why your pets are able to breath them in without you knowing it.

How bad is TruGreen for dogs?

I have heard of many dogs suffering serious health problems because of trugreen treatments. It’s important to know that they are not safe for your pets, but you also need to realize that these chemicals can cause cancer and other diseases in humans too.

Trugreen might give you a sense of security when it comes to battling the bugs in your own backyard, but it’s not worth the risk. There are many companies out there including trugreen that use harmful chemicals, but we need to learn from their mistakes and find a safer way to keep bugs away from our houses and families.

Can lawn fertilizer kill a dog?

This is a tough question and the answer might surprise you. Most people don’t realize it, but fertilizer can cause serious harm to your pet and should not be used for this purpose. Not only do the chemicals in fertilizers get into the grass and your dog’s paws, but they can also get into their stomach when they try to lick them

Is TruGreen lawn care safe for dogs?

TruGreen claims to use natural and organic products, but there are so many reports of dogs dying or getting sick because of trugreen treatments that I would think twice about hiring them. If you really want to save money and keep your pets safe, try hiring a professional organic lawn service that can apply their products without killing everything in sight.

There are several harmful ingredients for dogs used in trugreen’s treatment including:

  • 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (a herbicide)
  • Dicamba
  • Glyphosate

These chemicals can cause a variety of diseases including cancer, skin rashes, seizures, liver failure, and many more. The most common are skin rashes which can occur after your dog walks on the treated grass.

If you are concerned about your dog’s well-being, then hire a professional organic lawn service that can get rid of the bugs without poisoning your pets.

There are several alternatives to trugreen treatment, I searched online and found many natural ways to get rid of bugs such as:

Using insect repellent (treat yourself and get rid of the bugs) Using natural products like lavender, peppermint, and orange (you can make your own spray at home) You can buy “bug zappers” or “insect traps” for the bugs if they are getting too many of your plants these can help. You can throw away or use a bug bomb (not recommended) to kill the bugs, I’m not a big fan of these because they can kill birds too.

TruGreen is a lawn care company that uses chemicals to fertilize and maintain your property. If you have pets, like dogs or cats, be careful when using this service because it can kill them if they ingest the toxic fertilizer pellets.
